We are in need of a Finance Manager who will be responsible for all areas relating to financial management, including AP, AR, Payroll, Purchasing and Inventory. The candidate will perform all duties while managing other responsibilities and individuals. The candidate must be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, function in a team environment, and communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of accounting theory, concepts, practices, and procedures and be willing to do all tasks as needed or directed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to all general inquires to internal/external customers within the standard service level agreement (SLA)
  • Work directly with department leads to provide financial information
  • Assist with annual budget preparation
  • Manage licensing and royalty contract obligations
  • Plan and execute strategic projects
  • Lead tax responsibilities including sales tax and quarterly returns
  • Analyze revenues and expenses monthly to ensure they are recorded properly
  • Perform other analytics and monitor KPI's
  • Oversee/perform the daily financial responsibilities for AP, AR, Payroll, and month-end close
  • Oversee/perform monthly/annual financial activities, including financial and tax preparation
  • Oversee purchasing, warehouse, and inventory
  • Propose/Implement process improvements
  • Research accounting issues in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and/or tax authorities and present them to management
  • Mentor and train direct staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficiency with Cloud ERP systems
  • Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processing and regulations
  • 7+ years' experience in progressively responsible financial leadership
  • CPA or CMA
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting
