Our solution provides users with real-time compliance monitoring for SOC 2, a voluntary compliance standard for service organizations. The solution automatically tests, controls and alerts users with remediation instructions when a system or process violates regulatory compliance. It helps ensure that enterprises are protected from vulnerabilities and security risks that otherwise could put the organization in danger of being targeted by attackers. 

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive our technology vision forward and guide the implementation across multiple initiatives. Our engineering team is made up of amazing people with varying experience, so the ideal candidate would be able to both assist in the project management and help coach the engineers towards professional development and developing their own project management skills. 

What you'll do:

• Drive team goals, projects, and delivery dates

• Keeping on top of the architecture and contributing code

• Mentoring engineers 

• Interact with customers for a high-quality product experience

• Collaborate with other leaders to help define our 6-months and 1-year roadmaps

What you have:

• 2-3 years of experience as a technical lead/staff level engineer 

• 5-7 years of experience as a software engineer

• Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring engineers with diverse experience

• Experience with languages such as Javascript/Typescript, Python, and Golang

• Experience on a team delivering product features to customers and supporting customer feedback

• Direct experience with Jira and Confluence is desired
